Ruby’s Refuge is a private studio of facilitated rest and recovery. The name Refuge speaks to the heart of my work: creating a safe and sheltered space where your body does not have to brace, perform, or push through. My work centres around communicating safety to the nervous system, because when the body feels safe, it can begin to soften, unwind, and let go.

Through massage and sound, I offer gentle, grounded support for women who are carrying stress, overwhelm, and tension in their bodies. This is not about forcing relaxation, but about creating the conditions where rest becomes possible.

A whole-person approach that works with the body to release tension, soothe the nervous system, and invite deep comfort.

1:1 Sound Therapy

Using therapeutic sound, your body is guided into rest and alignment, supporting emotional balance and deep relaxation.
Duration: 60 mins

Group Sound Baths

A shared experience of sound and vibration to gently ease tension, calm the nervous system, and restore clarity at the Ruby’s Refuge studio.
When: Wednesdays 6–7pm, Saturdays 10–11am


Astrology Readings

I’m currently deepening my practice through a 9-month mentorship, exploring new ways to support and guide my clients. During this time, I’m offering readings at a reduced rate for those who’d like to experience my work.

Your nervous system is always listening. When your body senses stress — whether it’s from a difficult conversation, a busy day, or even old patterns stored in your body — it can go into a state of alert. Heart rate rises, muscles tighten, breathing becomes shallow, and sleep and digestion can be affected. Over time, this constant tension can leave you feeling wired, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.

At Ruby’s Refuge, I focus on communicating safety to your body. Through massage and sound, your nervous system receives gentle signals that it’s safe to relax. When your body feels safe, muscles soften, breath deepens, and your mind can finally rest.

This work isn’t about forcing relaxation — it’s about creating the conditions for it. The more often you can give your body these safe, restorative experiences, the more your nervous system learns to settle naturally over time.

At Ruby’s Refuge, my approach is slow, intentional, and centered on creating safety for your body and nervous system. I don’t force relaxation or push the body to “let go.” Instead, I facilitate an environment where release can happen naturally — a place where your body feels supported, your mind can soften, and your system can begin to unwind.

Each session is bespoke, guided by what your body needs in the moment. Whether through massage or sound, I focus on meeting you where you are, helping your nervous system settle, tension dissolve, and presence return.

The work is cumulative. Even though single sessions can be powerful, regular sessions allow your body to build on previous releases, creating longer-lasting shifts in how you feel, move, and rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No experience is needed. Sessions are completely tailored to you, and I guide you gently so you feel safe and supported throughout.

  • Absolutely. My work is designed for bodies that are carrying tension or stress. You don’t need to “relax first” — this is exactly what we’ll work with

  • Frequency matters more than duration. While single sessions can be powerful, regular sessions allow your body to build on previous releases, making the work more lasting.

  • Wear whatever is comfortable. Massage sessions are usually performed with clothing removed to your comfort level and draped appropriately. For sound therapy, loose clothing works best.
